These photos are from my book launch at Talmadge Terrace-Lanier Gardens retirement community in Athens. I launched my book there because the residents helped with my research on retirement communities. Many of their funny stories made it into my book. I talked to the residents about my research results. The chef — in keeping with the banana theme of my book — made and served Bananas Foster for the occasion. After my talk, I read a few pages from my book.
